Centro collinare di origine romana, situato sulla strada della Vallata, che giunge a Valdobbiadene. Il paese è sede di una grande parrocchiale dell'architetto Segusini, arricchita da dipinti di Egidio Dall'Oglio (metà '700) ed un pregevole organo del XVII sec.
I dintorni offrono la possibilità di belle escursioni naturalistiche. Interessanti le borgate circostanti Visna', Campea, Vergoman e Combai pittoresco borgo alle pendici del bosco Madean. Di rilievo sono la sagra dei marroni (ottobre) e la produzione del vino Verdiso. Il rifugio "Posa Puner" (1334 mt.) con apertura estiva e possibilita' di ristorazione e pernottamento, offre un percorso turistico rilevante.

Small hilly village of Roman origin lying on the Vallata Road leading to Valdobbiadene. There is a big 18th century parish church designed by architect Segusini. Inside you can admire Egidio Dall'Oglio's paintings (mid-18th century) and a valuable organ of the 18th century.
The surroundings offer hiking facilities. The nearby hamlets such as Visnà, Campea, Vergoman and Combai are also worth a visit. The latter is quite picturesque; at the beginning of a wood called Madean.
The traditional chestnut festival (Sagra dei Maroni) takes place every year in October; you can then taste chestnuts with the typical Verdiso, a delicious white wine.
The mountain hut 'Posa Puner' (4377 feet) is open in Summer and offers the possibility to eat and sleep there. It is the starting point of many interesting excursions.
