Art and history to Colle Umberto

COLLE UMBERTO’S CHURCH

 Period. The church was built from 1806 to 1809 and then enlarged by the architect Rupolo (1928); the bell tower dates back to 1816.

Works. The altar piece is probably by Francesco da Milano. On the ceiling of the nave, you can admire a fresco by Giovanni De Min.

VILLA MOROSINI – LUCCHESCHI – VALFORTE

Period. The villa was built in the 18th century and enlarged during the first half of the 19th century.

Structure. It has three floors and is encircled by an Italian garden.

Inside: There are decorated rooms with valuable 18th century’s and beautiful Venetian-style balconies.

Vittorio Emanuele 2nd and other famous personalities stayed in the villa.

SAN MARTINO’S CHURCH

Period: it dates back to 1800.

Style: Façade with a Loggia and Renaissance arcades.

inside: on the main altar, there is a painting of the Pordenone’s school, ceiling with frescoes.
