Art and history to Colle Umberto

COLLE UMBERTO’S CHURCH

 Period. The church was built from 1806 to 1809 and then enlarged by the architect Rupolo (1928); the bell tower dates back to 1816.

Works. The altar piece is probably by Francesco da Milano. On the ceiling of the nave, you can admire a fresco by Giovanni De Min.

VILLA MOROSINI – LUCCHESCHI – VALFORTE

Period. The villa was built in the 18^th century and enlarged during the first half of the 19^th century.

Structure. It has three floors and is encircled by an Italian garden.

Inside: There are decorated rooms with valuable 18^th century’s and beautiful Venetian-style balconies.

Vittorio Emanuele 2^nd and other famous personalities stayed in the villa.

SAN MARTINO’S CHURCH

Period: it dates back to 1800.

Style: Façade with a Loggia and Renaissance arcades.

inside: on the main altar, there is a painting of the Pordenone’s school, ceiling with frescoes.
