CISON DI VALMARINO’S CASTLEPeriod: It was built in 1194 by order of Gabriele Da Camino. Its aim was to dominate the valley. The castle was restored several times and enlarged to its present size by the architect Ottavio Scotti from Treviso. The last restoration is now in progress. The nearby 18th-century’s church has some remarkable paintings by Egidio Dall’Oglio. |
