HISTORY OF THE AlpinE HOLIDAY HOUSE
The House was built at the end of the twenties as a preventorium for the
cure of respiratory tract illnesses.
Preventorium "Malfatti" was created and managed by the Province of
Rovigo trough the Anti-tuberculosis Consortiums. With the institution of
the National Health Service it was assigned to the ULSS (i.e. Social and
Health Local Unity) of Pieve di Cadore. It had been closed for years
when in … it was entrusted to AFR. We provided for restoration and
maintenance. Today it is used for holidays, meetings, seminars and other
tourism and entertainment initiatives.
