Altitude : 1783 m

Snow : The happy position allows the skiing-season to last from the beginnings of December to May 1^st; on that date an event called “Last Snow” is held every year.

Facilities : one ski-lift  - It starts at altitude 1800 m and ends at 2000, where you will find wonderful spots of powder-snow for free-riding
one 6km cross-country track.

Crowding: Medium-Low

Description: The ski-lift  is 900 metres long: there are only two easy ski-slopes, but the area is apt for free-riding at any level. Close to the ski-lift  the slope is not steep and it is possible to ski on powder-snow without difficulty, and with some nice drops. Away from the ski-lift  you will find plenty of snow-clad steeply sloping downhill.  Some lead to nearby valleys, so you will have to arrange a way to go back to the ski-lift.

The area lies in a charming and quiet position. To have a rest you can come to our huts where you can eat any kind of typical food.

How to get there: From Udine (about 75 min) : in Tolmezzo, follow the State Road to Sappada up to Ovaro, where you have to turn left at the bridge to Prato Carnico,(Val Pesarina, ss465) - Forcella Lavardet. Follow this road up to Pesariis; beware not to pass Pesariis, but take the uphill road on the right leading to Pradibosco and Forcella Lavardet. When you get top-hill in Sella di Razzo, you will be at the hut in one kilometre.

From Venice : at the end of Motorway A27 take State Road SS51, through Longarone and then Pieve di Cadore on the SS51Bis. In  Lozzo di Cadore turn right to Vigo - Laggio di Cadore. Take SS619 to Sella Ciampigotto and you will be at the hut.
