Laggio di Cadore is an outlying division of Vigo di Cadore; it lies one kilometre away from there and it’s bigger, actually it is the biggest village of the area.

Lying in a sunny position, it is surrounded southward by Mounts Miaron, Cridola and Montanel; northward by Mounts Tudaio, Cima Bragagnina, Cima dei Landre, Schiavon and Popera Valgrande; westward Mounts Antelao, Marmarole and Ciareido, with its charming Pian dei Buoi.

The Alpine Holiday House lies in Monderon, and it is managed, together with the Alpine Hut “Ten.G.  Fabbro” in Razzo Plateau,  by the Ass. Famiglie Rurali della Sinistra Piave (A.F.R.S.P.)

A.F.R.S.P. meant the Alpine Holiday House to be a means of valorisation of family and rural world. Its very structure was conceived to provide the possibility of promoting social activities such as technical and educational courses, conventions and seminars.
